Aunt trip

She had put on quite a bit of weight in the last year, she weighed about one hundred and fifty kilos, more than double her ideal weight. George was happy to see Karen, knowing that he would find comfort and understanding from her. He was dressed like an elegant woman, and acted like one. After the initial impasse, Karen welcomed him with affection and warmth, asked a thousand questions, but in truth she asked them without judging. It was as if he understood that George was now a new person and accepted it.
They spent hours chatting and laughing, sharing memories and dreams for the future. George felt truly loved and accepted for who he was. Georgina gave notice of her rented apartment and, for some time, moved into Karen's quiet house, where she found an escape from the outside world and a safe haven where she could spend time and reorganize her English life.

George would not have stayed in London however, he wanted a different, less chaotic, less multicultural environment. Many immigrants lived in Karen's neighborhood and the presence of a transsexual was not welcomed with much joy. Karen also told George about her son, Jeremy, a boy George had not seen for years, who had gone to live in Belfast where he worked for a telephone agency. Jeremy could also have found George a job, a job in a call center from home, which would have allowed George now Giorgina to have a little autonomy without necessarily having to immediately clash with the outside world with his new identity. Furthermore, a job would have guaranteed Georgina access to further care should the need arise.
She spent another ten days at her sister's house and then took the train and began the journey to Belfast, at the beginning she would have shared the house with her nephew Jeremy, and Karen was curious, she would have come all the way to Belfast just to see the his son's reaction to the man he remembered as Uncle George, the Royal Navy sergeant.
George decided to present himself to his nephew Jeremy under the identity of Georgina, wearing an elegant and seductive feminine dress, and a pair of heels that made her slender at around five feet tall. As she approached Jeremy's door, George felt a mix of emotions: anxiety, but also hope of being accepted for who she had become, and not only that, she was also curious to see her nephew's reaction.
